Three Penn State Behrend student-athletes were named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athletes of the Week.
In women's soccer, Jordan Oberlander (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) was selected Offensive Player of the Week after notching six goals and adding an assist for 13 points. She scored half of the Lions' goals in a 6-0 win over D'Youville and then buried all three goals in a 3-0 victory against Mt. Aloysius. Oberlander is currently tied for second in NCAA DIII statistics in total goals with 17 goals through 11 games.
Sophomore Riley Crissman (Bradford, PA/Bradford Area) lead the women's cross country team scoring a time of 23:34.9, crossing the line 33rd overall. Crissman's performance helped the Lions place seventh out of 15 teams in the women's 6K race.
Dylan Buffington (Brookville, PA/Brookville) set the pace for the Lions for the second event this season, finishing with a total time of 25:37.7. His 15th place finish gave the men's cross country team the points needed to claim sixth out of 18 teams.
