Krystal Kovach Named Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week

Krystal Kovach (Scott Twp./Chartiers Valley) has been named the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week for the week of February 22, 2010.

Kovach and the rest of the Penn State Behrend Lions swimming and diving teams captured their fourth straight AMCC Championship over the weekend.  Kovach once again put in a great performance on the diving board as she qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive year.  Kovach took home first place in both the 1 meter and 3 meter dive.  She scored a mark of 416.90 in the 1 meter and 453.60 in the 3 meter.  The 2010 AMCC champion Behrend Lions recorded their highest point totals ever as the men accumulated 385 points and the women totaled 336. 

Next up for the Behrend Lions swimming and diving teams will be the ECAC Championships that are set to be held on February 26, through February 28, 2010.  The NCAA Championships will follow with those on Wednesday, March 17 and Thursday, March 18.
