ERIE, Pa. – Seniors Jessica Wyckoff (Elma, NY/Iroquois), Mark Patterson (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) and junior Dillon Hildebrand (Red Lion, PA/Red Lion) have been named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athletes of the Week, announced on Monday.
Wyckoff led the women's swimming and diving team to their 11th AMCC Championship this weekend. She was named AMCC Swimmer of the Year for being a three-time individual winner and four-time relay winner. Wyckoff set the Meet, AMCC and Team record in 200 freestyle with a time of 1:56.66. She also set a pool record in the 400 Medley Relay, and a Meet and AMCC record in the 400 Free Relay.
Patterson was instrumental in helping Behrend claim its 13th straight AMCC Crown on Saturday. He was named the AMCC Swimmer of the Year for the second consecutive season. He won three individual events and four relays at the AMCC Championships. Patterson also hit two NCAA B cut times, while setting 15 records over the four-day event.
Hildebrand, junior men's volleyball outside hitter, led the Lions to a 3-0 win over D'Youville last Thursday. He recorded a team-lead 14 kills on 25 attempts for a .480 hitting percentage. Hildebrand also added seven digs, two assists and two blocks in the match.
