Bolla, Tingley Named AMCC Pitchers of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend baseball junior Colin Bolla and softball senior Abby Tingley were named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Pitchers of the Week.

Bolla, last week's AMCC Pitcher of the Week, threw a complete-game two-hit shutout in a 7-0 win over Alfred State on Saturday. The junior struck out 12 batters in the seven innings and walked two for a 0.00 ERA.

Tingley went 3-0 this week in the circle, posting a 2.10 ERA in 13.1 innings pitched. She registered a pair of wins at La Roche on Saturday, winning the opener in a complete game and then came in relief for the win in game two. For the week, she struck out nine and only allowed four earned runs.
