Women's Bowling Starts Season With Annual Grapevine Classic

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team will open their season by hosting the 2021 Grapevine Bowling Classic on Saturday and Sunday at Eastland Bowl.

* Saturday, October 9: Four matches of traditional games, 12:30 p.m. (Video)
* Sunday, October 10: Four single-baker format games, 9 a.m. (Video)

* The Lions will battle local Division II Mercyhurst in the first traditional game for their season opener
* Behrend will have a bye, before taking on La Roche in the third round, Walsh in the fourth round and D'Youville in the fifth
* On day two, the Lions will compete in baker matches against Roberts Wesleyan and D'Youville with their scores determining the final two matches
