ERIE, Pa. - The Behrend women's bowling team captured their first win of the season on the final day of the Mercyhurst Invitational on Sunday in Baker play against the host team.

Key Moments:

* The Lions finished in sixth place out of eight teams at the invitational
* Behrend lost by just seven pins to open the day against Mercyhurst (819-812)
* The Lions dropped the next two games to Duquesne 902-705 and 995-801, respectively
* Behrend collected their first win over the Lakers in the fourth game, dropping 818 pins on the Division II opponent
* The day ended with a loss to Roberts Wesleyan (943-811)
