"This attention these four Behrend Lions have earned is terrific," said fifteenth year Head Coach Paul Benim. "They are tremendous people and will have outstanding spring seasons."
Gray is the team's table setter in the lead-off spot and an awesome centerfielder. He led the team with a .432 batting average and scored
a team-high 59 runs. Gray also knocked 10 doubles, three home runs and drove in 30, while stealing 16 bases and earning 22 free passes.
This is the third consecutive season Fyffe has earned this prestigious honor from CB. He anchors the team at shortstop and is one of the most decorated players to ever wear the blue and white. In 2009 Fyffe was named both the AMCC and ECAC South Player of the Year. He hit .406 while leading the program in hits (69), doubles (13), home runs (9), and rbi (58).
Haus enters his senior season ranked fifth all-time in career ERA at 3.00. He is ready to take over the reigns as the leader of the pitching staff after throwing a gem in the 2009 AMCC title game. Haus pitched seven and two-thirds innings, scattering seven hits, allowing no earned runs against a team that averaged nine runs a game and went on to win the ECAC South title.
Kessler is a junior infielder who played exceptional defense and made only three errors last season. At the plate, he carried a .401 average with 49 runs scored. Kessler also hit a pair of home runs, drove in 36, and stole 13 bases to go with 22 walks.
