Josh Fyffe Named Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week

Josh Fyffe (Fredonia/Sharpsville) has been named the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week for the week of March 15, 2010.

In a week which saw the Behrend Lions baseball team go an impressive 7-1, Fyffe showed why he was picked as preseason AMCC Player of the Year.  He started in every game at shortstop and led the squad in multiple categories at the plate.  He had a batting average of .594 with 19 hits and 14 runs scored.  Fyffe homered three times and went on to drive in 16 runs while having a slugging percentage of over 1.000.  The senior was on base almost 65% of the time and also stole three bases.

The Behrend Lions will next travel to Kentucky to face off against Thomas More in a doubleheader on Sunday, March 21.
