Moyer Named AMCC Pitcher of the Week

ERIE, Pa. –Penn State Behrend baseball's very own Mike Moyer grabs Allegheny Mountain Collegiate College's (AMCC) Pitcher of the Week honors for the week of March 6-13.
Moyer got two wins for the Behrend Lions (5-3) last week. The sophomore threw seven innings in an 8-1 decision over Northwestern, allowing five hits and one earned run while striking out five. Moyer then went the distance in a 9-1 win over Susquehanna, again allowing just one earned run while fanning six.
Behrend returns to the field Saturday March 19 at Waynesburg. The double header is scheduled for 1 and 3 p.m.
