ERIE, Pa. - Penn State Behrend baseball senior hurler Phil Myers (DuBois, PA/DuBois Central Catholic) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Pitcher of the Week. 

Myers started the 2019 season with a win on the mound against Wilkes on Sunday. He threw six innings and allowed just two earned runs while striking out seven in his first outing. Myers threw 70 strikes on 90 pitches and gave up eight hits. 

The Lions are in action today against Lebanon Valley. Game began at 2 p.m.
