The Penn State Behrend baseball team will head to Madison, New Jersey on Thursday for a three game-series with FDU-Florham for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship beginning on Friday. It will be the first time the Lions participate in the ECAC postseason since 2019 and the 12th trip in program history.

The Penn State Behrend baseball team punched their ticket to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship on Saturday with a win over No. 2 Mount Aloysius. Jake Deitz (Erie, PA/McDowell) helped send the Lions to the conference title game with a two-run single to walk off the Mounties in the bottom of the ninth, plating the tying and winning run.

The Lions rallied around a game-tying homerun from Isaac Stouffer (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) in the fifth inning and didn’t look back, scoring nine-unanswered runs to close out an 11-6 victory.
