Behrend Baseball Honored For Academic Excellence
The Penn State Behrend baseball team has been awarded the 2022-23 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the seventh consecutive season.

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend baseball team has been awarded the 2022-23 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the seventh consecutive season. The Lions were one of 162 Division III teams to be recognized for their efforts off the field, presented by Sports Attack.
To earn the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, a team's head coach must be a member of the ABCA while posting a team grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
The Lions and the Hilbert Hawks are the two teams representing the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.
