Ciocco, Lang Nab D3baseball.com All-Region 7 Honors

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend baseball seniors Mac Ciocco (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) and Joe Lang (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) were named to the 2025 D3baseball.com All-Region 7 Team. Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools.

Ciocco, a Second Team selection as a designated hitter, finished second in the AMCC and ninth in the nation with a .452 batting average, while also being first in the conference in hits (71), third in runs batted in (43) and on-base percentage (.527), and fifth in slugging percentage (.611). He led the team in walks (23) and tied for first on the team in doubles (14) and home runs (three). Ciocco registered 42 runs scored for second on the team. He ranked as the 17th toughest hitter to strikeout in Division III with only seven strikeouts in 157 plate appearances and recorded a 17-game hitting streak during the season. Ciocco delivered his 100th career RBI at Pitt-Bradford and his 150th career hit against Fredonia. He reached base in 41 of 42 games and tallied 25 multi-hit games and 10 contests with two or more RBIs. Ciocco was picked to the All-Region Third Team in 2023.

Lang, a Third Team selection as a relief pitcher, appeared in 13 games, throwing 26.1 innings out of the bullpen. He was first on the team with a 2.73 ERA and tied for second in the AMCC with five saves. Lang also finished third on the team in strikeouts (34). He struck out his 100th career hitter vs. Hilbert during the regular season.

Ciocco and Lang were both All-AMCC First Team honorees.
