The Penn State Behrend baseball team swept Hilbert, winning by 10 runs in each game, in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) on Saturday afternoon at Frontier High School.

HAMBURG, NY – The Penn State Behrend baseball team swept Hilbert, winning by 10 runs in each game, in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) on Saturday afternoon at Frontier High School.
Game One
Score: Penn State Behrend 22, Hilbert 11
Records: Penn State Behrend (14-6, 4-2 AMCC), Hilbert (15-9, 4-2 AMCC)
Key Moments:
* The Behrend Lions scored 22 runs on 26 hits, scoring in all but one inning
* The Lions broke open a three-all tie after the first with 11 runs over the next three innings
* Dylan Barnes was a perfect 5-for-5 with a career-high 10 RBI and three home runs
* Jake Federouch hit 4-for-4 with three RBIs, five runs scored and a home run
* Cayden Turner had four total hits, three of them were doubles
* In total, Behrend had nine extra-base hits
* The Lions scored six runs in the third tot take a 10-3 lead
* Barnes delivered a grand slam in the fourth to take the double-digit lead at 15-4

* The Lions went ahead 9-0 after six and a half innings
* Behrend held the Hawks to three runs, all scored in the seventh inning
* The Lions produced 14 runs on 17 hits
* Silvio Ionadi led with three hits, doubling to left field and then scoring on a sacrifice fly by Cayden Turner for a 1-0 lead in the first
* Turner drove in the second run in the third, Ionadi, and David Gibson had an RIB single to knock in Barnes for a 3-0 advantage
* After one more run in the fourth, Behrend scored 10 runs over the final three innings
* In the seventh inning, Adam Cooper smacked a three-run home run to make it 9-0
* Andrew Bredel collected his third win, throwing six innings and fanning five
* Chase Caricato came in relief for two innings and allowed one run
