Chris Saltzman Named Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week

Junior Chris Saltzman (Pittsburgh/Pittsburgh Central Catholic) has been named the ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR Athlete of the Week for the week of November 23, 2009.

Saltzman put in a career high performance last week when the Behrend Lions basketball team battled the Fredonia State Blue Devils at the Junker Center on November 18.  Led by Saltzman's career high 31 points, the blue and white defeated the Blue Devils by a score of 69-65.  The junior made key play after key play both on the defensive and offensive side of the ball.  Saltzman also ripped down seven boards to go along with his point total.

Up next for Coach Niland's charges will be a pair of AMCC road tests. On Tuesday, November 24, the blue and white will compete at Franciscan at 8:00 p.m. and then on November 30, Behrend will play at Medaille in Buffalo.  The Mavericks were the 2008-09 AMCC league champions.
