ERIE, Pa. – The Case Western Reserve men's basketball team shot 51.9 percent from the floor and got 36 points from their bench to defeat Penn State Behrend 71-68 in non-conference action on Tuesday night.

* Alex Vincent came off the bench for a game-high 24 points and nine rebounds to help the Spartans get their second straight win to start the season
* Vincent scored half of Case Western's points in the first half with 18 while the team shot 58.6 percent from the floor to take a four-point lead at halftime
* The Spartans held a 20-9 rebounding advantage in the first 20 minutes and finished with a 40-26 edge
