Behrend Men's Basketball Survive First-Half Battle; Lions Take Down Pitt-Greensburg

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team remains undefeated in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action, collecting a 72-66 win over Pitt-Greensburg on Wednesday night in the Junker Center.

Records: Penn State Behrend (9-5, 5-0 AMCC), Pitt-Greensburg (11-1, 4-1 AMCC)

Noteworthy:

* The Lions knocked the Bobcats from the undefeated ranks in the AMCC
* Behrend and Pitt-Greensburg exchanged the lead five times and tied five times, all in the first half
* The Lions never trailed in the final 20 minutes and took a 13-point lead off a Nate Edwards jump shot with 2:52 remaining in the game
* The Lions got 19 points from the free-throw line, the third most points from the line this season
* For the fourth time this season, Edwards led the Lions in scoring with 18 points
* Behrend is 4-0 this season when shooting 50 percent or better (51.1 percent tonight)
* Shawn Mason had a season-high 13 points, knocking down three triples
* Jacob Dunkle led on the boards with eight rebounds and added 15 points
