Noteworthy:
* The Lions used a 21-6 run in the final five minutes of the game to erase a three-point deficit and pull away from the Hawks to secure their seventh conference win
* McDonough, who made a career-high 11 field goals, went a perfect 4-for-4 from the field including two triples and hit a pair of free throws for 12 points during the run
* McDonough had 14 points in each half for his best scoring performance this season while dishing out a career-best seven assists
* Behrend generated its best shooting percentage from the floor, going 30-for-51 (58.8 percent)
* The Lions also knocked down a season-best 11 three pointers
* Nate Edwards tallied 19 points and Shawn Mason led with five triples for 15 points
* Edwards also added a career-best three blocks
* Jacob Dunkle was the fourth player with double-figure points with 11 and grabbing a team-best seven boards
* The win is the fourth straight for Behrend to begin the month of January
