Lions Keep Unblemished Record in AMCC With Win over Pitt-Bradford

BRADFORD, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team improves to 8-0 in conference action after a 70-48 victory on the road against Pitt-Bradford on Wednesday night.

Noteworthy:

* Mason Blankenberg tallied a third of the teams 39 points in the first half (13)
* Blankenberg finished with a season-best nine field goals for a season-high 23 points
* The Lions held a 24-7 rebound advantage in the first half alone and scored 14 points off turnovers
* Jacob Dunkle posted his third double-double of the season with 14 points and a season-high 16 rebounds
* Nate Edwards added 15 points on 6-for-10 shooting, while Matthew McDonough contributed 11 points and six rebounds
* After a scoreless two minutes to start the second half, the Panthers tallied the first two points to half a four-minute scoring draught
* Pitt-Bradford outscored Behrend 33-31 in the second half but could not overcome the first-half deficit
* The win is the fifth straight for Behrend to begin the month of January
