Men's Basketball Completes Season Sweep Over Altoona in AMCC Action

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team completed the season sweep over Penn State Altoona with a 71-44 victory in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday afternoon.

Key Moments:

* Behrend held Altoona to its lowest offensive output this season
* Altoona, who is averaging 75.7 points per game, was held to 20 points in the first half and 24 in the second
* The Behrend Lions held the lead for all but 1:13 of the game and pulled away from the Altoona Lions with a 19-point run late in the second half
* Jacob Dunkle had a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds
* Dunkle accounted for more almost a third of the team's rebounds with the team holding a 44-27 edge on the boards
* Dunkle also went 13-for-17 from the charity stripe, just one of three Behrend players sent to the line
* Nate Edwards contributed 13 points and Matt McDonough celebrated senior day with 10 points, three assists, three rebounds and two steals
* Edwards had a pair of three pointers, both coming in the first half and the second going in from beyond half court at the buzzer to give Behrend a 15-point lead heading into the locker rooms
