Men's Basketball Named AMCC Regular-Season Champions; Lions Handle La Roche

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team earned the title of Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Regular-Season Champions with a 71-45 victory over La Roche on Wednesday night.

* The win also clinches the No. 1 seed and hosting rights for the upcoming AMCC Tournament
* It marks the first time since the 2014-15 season the Lions have defeated the Redhawks by more than 25 points
* Jacob Dunkle tallied his third straight 20+ point game, leading with 24 points on 9-for-13 shooting
* Matt McDonough and Mason Blankenberg each connected on four triples to register 20 and 14, respectively, while Nate Edwards led on the boards with 11
* Dunkle had 16 of his 24 points in the first half and McDonough had 10 points to give Behrend a 32-25 lead at the break
