Behrend Men's Golf Competes at Hilbert Invitational

CHEEKTOWAGA, NY – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team competed in the Hilbert Invitational at Diamond Hawk Golf Course on Thursday afternoon. The Lions A team finished third and the B team placed fifth.

Key Moments:

* Niagara won the invitational with a score of 325, followed by Hilbert in second (343) and the Lions in third (344)
* Owen Blum (Warren, PA/Warren), Johnny Palmieri (Warren, PA/Eisenhower), JR Hufnagel (Evans City, PA/North Catholic), Daniel McMaster (Murrysville, PA/Greenburg Central) and Liam Good (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) made up the A team
* Ethan Carll (Tionesta, PA/North Clarion), Matthew Muldowney (Pittsburgh, PA/Moon Area), Andrew Hatton (Lawrence Park, PA/Iroquois), and Dante Mannarino (Beaver Falls, PA/Blackhawk) competed for the B team
* The A team registered a score of 344, while the B team scored 364
* Blum led the way with a second-place finish with a team-low score of 81
* Palmieri and Hufnagel tied for eighth place with an 86, while McMaster posted the fourth team score with a 91 for 14^th place
* For the B team, Muldowney and Hatton tied for 10^th place overall with an identical score of 88
