Men's Golf Poised For AMCC Championships
The Penn State Behrend men's golf team will travel to State College, PA for the 2025 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships held at the Toftrees Golf Resort on Monday and Tuesday.
ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team will travel to State College, PA for the 2025 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships held at the Toftrees Golf Resort on Monday and Tuesday.
AMCC Championship News & Notes
* The stroke-play tournament is played over two days for 36 holes (18 holes on Monday, 18 holes on Tuesday)
* Tournament pairings for day one are: Carlow at 10 am. followed by Pitt-Bradford, La Roche and Penn State Behrend at 10:50 a.m. Penn State Altoona and Pitt-Greensburg tee off at 11:40 a.m.
* Tuesday's action will commence at 9 a.m. with pairings to be determined by the day-one results.
* The tournament team champion will receive the AMCC's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament which will be held May 12-15 in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida

* The Lions are looking for their 11th AMCC Title in program history
* Last year, Behrend earned sixth place with a team score of 692
* The Lions carded a 353 on day one and a 339 on day two
* Behrend last won the AMCC Championships in the Spring of 2020
* The top five Behrend golfers for the championships are: 1) James Kinghorn, 2) Johnny Palmieri 3) JR Hufnagel, 4) Owen Blum, 5) Andrew Hatton
* Palmieri leads the team and ranks 30th in the AMCC with a 80.00 average
