After recently claiming the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference regular-season title and the No. 1 seed for the upcoming conference tournament, the Penn State Behrend men’s soccer team continues to move up in NCAA Division III statistics.

ERIE, Pa. – After recently claiming the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference regular-season title and the No. 1 seed for the upcoming conference tournament, the Penn State Behrend men's soccer team continues to move up in NCAA Division III statistics.  

As a team, Behrend ranks fifth in the nation in total goals with 57. The Lions also rank 8th in total points (150), 10th in scoring offense (3.17 goals per game), 12th in points per game (8.33) and 18th with a .833 winning percentage.

Individually, senior forward Jimmy Belack (Upper St. Clair, PA/Upper St. Clair) is nationally-ranked second in game-winning goals with 7. He also ranks 8th in total points (41), 9th in total goals (16), 17th in points per game (2.28) and 22nd with .89 goals per game.

Goalkeeper Jarrod Wassell (Hollidaysburg, PA/Hollidaysburg) owns a goals-against average mark of .621, 32nd best in the nation.

The Lions gear up for a home contest in the semifinal round of the AMCC Tournament. Behrend will play the winner of the four and five seeds Mt. Aloysius and La Roche on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
