ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team will host Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference rival Medaille College on Tuesday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Penn State Behrend News & Notes

* Penn State Behrend stands 5-2-1, 1-0 AMCC on the season.  The Behrend Lions topped La Roche College 5-1 this past Saturday in their AMCC opener.  
* Penn State Behrend was selected as the preseason favorites to win the AMCC in a coaches' poll released last month.  Medaille College was picked to finish second in the AMCC preseason coaches' poll.
* PSB has been ranked regionally in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region rankings in back-to-back weeks.  The Behrend Lions are currently ranked No. 10 in the Great Lakes Region.
* Senior Ryan Maurer leads Penn State Behrend with three goals and six points this season.  Dakota Lange, Christian Eckberg, and Logan Brinsky each have scored two goals. 

Medaille College News & Notes

* The Mavericks come to Erie with a 3-3-1 overall record.  Medaille is 1-0 in AMCC play after winning their AMCC opener at Franciscan by a final score of 3-0.
* Freshman Lachlan Beever leads the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference with seven goals and 14 points this season.

Series History

* Penn State Behrend and Medaille have been two of the dominant powers in the AMCC since the league's inception in 1997. 
* Penn State Behrend narrowly leads the all-time series with the Mavericks 12-11-4.
* These two teams last met in the 2017 AMCC Championship game.  Medaille advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament after edging PSB on penalty kicks 5-4.
* Since 2010, the Behrend Lions are 10-3-2 against Medaille.
