Men's Indoor Track & Field Wins Five Events at Houghton

HOUGHTON, NY – The Penn State Behrend men's indoor track & field team competed at Houghton in their second meet of the season on Saturday afternoon.
Key Moments:
* Behrend has two AARTFC qualifying marks on the day
* Lee Qualk claimed first place in the men's long jump with an AARTFC qualifying mark of 7.12 meters
* Brandon Konieczki added a third-place finish at 6.59 meters, also in the long jump
* Alex Cotton won the men's shot put, posting a top mark of 15.45 meters (AARTFC qualifying throw), with Antonio Faraone placed third at 14.36 meters
* Derek Hillhouse cleared 1.89 meters to win the men's high jump, just missing the AARTFC mark
* The men's 4x400 relay team of Carter Tobin, Logan Brewer, Jake Walden, and Jake Egizio captured first place with a time of 3:30.74
* Ethan Vaughan competed in two distance events, winning the mile (4:30) and finishing third in the 3000 meters (9:17.51)
* Aidan Reinsel followed Vaughan in the mile, earning second place in 4:34
* Brendan Luce placed second in the men's 400 meters with a time of 52.55, while Alex Haskins ran to a third-place finish in the men's 5K, clocking in at 16:03
