Indoor Track & Field Competes at Mt. Union Invitational
The Penn State Behrend indoor track & field team competed at Mount Union Jim Wuske Collegiate Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend indoor track & field team competed at Mount Union Jim Wuske Collegiate Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Men's Key Moments:
* The Lions earned one gold and three bronze medals on the day
* Carter Tobin won the 60m dash with a time of 6.98
* Lee Qualk, Ethan Vaughan and Aidan Reinsel tallied third place for Behrend
* Qualk registered a distance of 6.54m (21' 5 ½) in the long jump for third overall
* Vaughan led the Lions in the 3000m event, taking third in 8:54.12
* Reinsel ran 2:01.09 in the 800m for bronze, while also taking sixth in the 3000m (9:04.82)
* In the 60m hurdles, Dominic Marino earned fourth place with a time of 8.71
* Cole Cunningham took fifth in the long jump (6.46m) and Drew Knight was fifth in the 800m run (2:02.45)
* Ryan Visosky was the third athlete to take fifth place, throwing 13.67m (44'10 ¼) in the weight throw
Women's Key Moments:
* Linsday Hartle tallied the best finish for Behrend, taking fourth in the 3000m with a personal-best time of 11:03.26\
* In the weight throw, Jessica Park earned sixth with a distance of 13.17m
