Behrend Men's Indoor Track & Field Captures Three Titles at SUNYAC Indoor Championships: Lions Take Second Overall
The Penn State Behrend Lions placed second out of 11 teams at the 2026 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Conference Indoor Championships held this weekend at the Brockport Special Events Center.
BROCKPORT, NY – The Penn State Behrend Lions placed second out of 11 teams at the 2026 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Conference Indoor Championships held this weekend at the Brockport Special Events Center.

Key Moments:
* Behrend had two individual champions and the distance medley relay claim the SUNYAC title to place second, its highest finish at the championships
* Carter Tobin was the SUNYAC Champion in the 200m dash and Derek Hillhouse won the high jump
* Tobin tallied a winning time of 21.93 in the 200m and also was runner up in the 60m in 6.87
* Tobin ran a 6.83 in the prelims to set a new school record
* Hillhouse posted a regional qualifying and personal record of 6-4 ¾ to lead all the competition in the high jump for the championship
* The distance medley of Aidan Reinsel, Ethan Hunt, Drew Knight and Ethan Vaughan were crowned SUNYAC Champions with a time of an AARTFC qualifying time of 10:33.25?
* Vaughan also ran a strong mile, finishing second place with a time of 4:24.79
* Jake Egizio placed third in the 400m dash (49.86) and Brandon Konieczki also took third but in the long jump (7.17m – AARTFC qualifying and new school record)
* In the shot put, Alex Cotton had a regional-qualifying throw with 14.74m to place fourth overall and Ryan Visosky was right behind him in fifth (14.29m)
* The 4x400m relay came in third thanks to Anderson Blakely, Brendan Luce, Logan Brewer and Egizio
* The foursome had an AARTFC qualifying time of 3:32.23
