Men's Track & Field Competes at AARTFC Indoor Championships
The Penn State Behrend men’s indoor track & field team competed on day one of the All-Atlantic Region Conference Indoor T&F Championships on Friday.
NEW YORK, NY – The Penn State Behrend men's indoor track & field team competed on day one of the All-Atlantic Region Conference Indoor T&F Championships on Friday.
Key Moments:
* Lee Qualk and Brandon Konieczki finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the long jump
* Qualk recorded a distance of 7.03m (23-00.75) while Konieczki tallied a jump of 7.00m (22-11.75)
* The 4000m distance medley, made up of Aidan Reinsel, Ethan Hunt, Drew Knight and Ethan Vaughan, took 14th place overall with a time of 10:33.54
* In the 60m prelims, Carter Tobin registered a time of 6.88 to qualify for the finals tomorrow
* In the shot put, Alex Cotton placed fourth with a throw of 16.38m (53-09) and Antonio Faraone came in 18th overall with a toss of 14.18m (46-06.25)
* The other relay competing on the day was the 4x400
* Hunt, Anderson Blakely, Brendan Luce and Logan Brewer made up the relay that placed 22nd with a time of 3:28.43
* As a team, Behrend tallied 14 points on the first day to sit in fourth place
