Tobin Wins 100m; Men's Track & Field Competes at CMU

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Carter Tobin won the 100m and placed second in the 200m to lead the Penn State Behrend men's outdoor track & field team at Carnegie Mellon over the weekend.
Key Moments:
* Tobin won the 100m with a time of 10.64 and was runner up in the 200m with a time of 22.45
* Brandon Konieczki was seventh
* Lee Qualk tied for second place overall in the long jump
* Qualk jumped 21-0 ¾ on his fifth attempt, while Konieczki registered a distance of 19-10 ¾ for 10th overall
* Alex Cotton placed fifth in the discus throw, tossing 148-11 on his fourth attempt
* Ryan Visosky and Antonio Farane were eighth and ninth respectively in the shot put on Friday
* Visosky threw 45-11 ¼ on his second attempt and Faraone hit 45-9 ¾ on his third try
* Dominic Marino led the Lions in the 110m hurdles with ninth place overall in 15.57
* In the 800m, Nicolin Pierce ran 1:57.27 for 11th place overall
* Brendan Luce had the fastest time for Behrend in the 400m, clocking in at 52.11 for 12th overall, followed by Ethan Hunt in 16th (52.43) and Logan Brewer in 18th (52.48)
