Behrend Track & Field Named to All-Academic Teams; Seven Individuals Honored
The Penn State Behrend men’s and women's track and field teams were named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team for the 2025-26 NCAA Division III indoor and outdoor seasons.
ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend men's and women's track and field teams were named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team for the 2025-26 NCAA Division III indoor and outdoor seasons.
A program must have at least a 3.10 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. The women garnered a 3.55 GPA and senior Julia Balaski (industrial engineering) was selected to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
The men achieved a 3.35 GPA and had six athletes named to the All-Academic Team. Athlete status. Seniors Alex Cotton (mechanical engineering) and Antonio Faraone (industrial engineering), along with junior Brandon Konieczki (accounting), sophomores Charlie Motter (integrated business & engineering) and Carter Tobin (engineering) and freshman Lee Qualk (engineering) were honored individually.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and be ranked in the top 50 in the nation individually or be in the top 35 in relays.
