Depth on Display in Behrend Men’s Volleyball Win Over Houghton

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team registered a .342 attack percentage to post a 3-0 win over Houghton in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) opener for both teams on Tuesday night.

Key Moments:

* The Lions had 11 different players involved in the offense, led by Jack Wilcox's nine kills
* Wilcox hit .533 and added two digs and two blocks assists in two sets of work
* Luke Mumpower collected a double-double with a team-best 22 assists and 11 digs
* Daniel Easly and Joseph Sciscio each added four kills, while Logan Unger tallied nine digs
* Behrend gave up 41 match points, including just 10 in the second set
* A team 15 kills in the first set helped the Lions take an early 25-15 lead
* Wilcox knocked down a team-best six kills out of Behrend's 13 to win the second set, 25-10
* The Highlanders pulled out to an 8-5 lead in the third set but Lions went on an 11-5 run to take the lead for good
* Will Streicher hit .600 with three kills and Caleb Daubenspeck recorded two kills in the third
