Men's Volleyball Lands Six on All-AMCC Team
The Penn State Behrend men’s volleyball team had six players named to the 2026 All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Team, announced on Tuesday.
ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team had six players named to the 2026 All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Team, announced on Tuesday.
Joseph Sciscio, Jack Wilcox and Mason Anderson were selected to the First Team, while Lewis Rhodes, Daniel Easly and Luke Mumpower were voted to the Second Team.
Sciscio lands on the First Team for his first All-Conference recognition. The senior middle hitter became the first player in program history to be named an AVCA All-Region selection. Sciscio is ranked first in NCAA Division III statistics in blocks per set (1.23), knocking down 96 total blocks including 71 assist and 25 solo blocks. He also ranks ninth in attack percentage (.427). Sciscio was also named AMCC Defensive Player of the Week three times this season. He has 139 kills in 79 sets with only 27 errors on 262 attempts. This season, Sciscio recorded double-digit kills on three occasions and posted a season-best nine blocks in the three-set win over Grove City.
Wilcox, a sophomore right-side hitter, led the team and ranked third in the AMCC in kills per set with 3.08, while leading in total kills (262) and ranking fourth in the conference. He is also fourth in attack percentage (.280) and fifth in blocks per set (0.75). Wilcox was named AMCC Offensive Player of the Week twice this season. He posted double-digit kills in 13 matches, including a season-best 18 kills vs. St. John Fisher.
Anderson, a freshman libero, saw time in 26 matches including 80 sets. He posted 82 digs to rank sixth on the team. Anderson also tallied 29 kills, five aces and three block assists. He posted a season-best seven kills vs. SUNY Poly, while registering a season-high 11 digs vs. St. John Fisher.
Easly was named to the Second Team for a second straight season. The senior outside hitter ranked second on the team with 194 kills and kills per set with 2.42. He also has 122 digs and 21 total blocks to go with 19 service aces. Easly posted a season-high 18 kills in the season opener against Hiram. He would go on to get double-digit kills in seven more matches throughout the season. Easly recorded a season-best 12 digs vs. Buffalo State.
Rhodes repeats on the All-AMCC Second Team. The senior middle hitter ranks second in AMCC and 9th in NCAA Division III in blocks/set (1.02). He registered a .390 attack percentage, knocking down 105 kills on 218 attempts with only 20 errors in 28 matches. Rhodes became the career leader in blocks earlier this season and was named AMCC Defensive Player of the Week on February 16.
Mumpower is being recognized on the Second Team for the first time in his career. He ranks second in the AMCC in assists (667) and assist/set (7.85) and ranked seventh in digs per set with 1.93. Mumpower also served 29 aces, good for 10th in the conference. He tallied four double-doubles this season and was named AMCC Defensive Player of the Week on February 9.
