The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team dropped a pair of games Saturday at the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Championships hosted by Princeton. In their first contest, the Lions (2-18) fell to Navy (15-10), 21-4. In game two, Behrend was defeated by local rival Mercyhurst (14-11).

Matthew Johnson's (Houston, TX/Cypress Falls) three goals led the Penn State Behrend men's water polo team past Monmouth (3-9) Saturday night by a score of 7-3. The Lions (3-18) scored four fourth quarter goals to claim the victory.

The Penn State Behrend men’s water polo team travels to Princeton this weekend for the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Southern Championship. The Lions (2-16) are the 11 seed in the tournament and take on the No. 2 seed Navy and the No. 7 seed Mercyhurst.

On senior day, the Penn State Behrend men’s water polo team dropped a pair of games to Monmouth and Gannon. In the first game of the day, Monmouth edged the Lions 11-10 in a thrilling back and forth contest. Game two featured a battle of two Erie schools. Gannon won the contest, 16-10.

The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team dropped two games on Saturday in the Gary Troyer Tournament. In game one,the Lions (2-8) were defeated by Occidental (4-15) by a score of 12-2. In a rematch of a thrilling game the previous night, Caltech (6-9) defeated Behrend, 11-4.

LA VERNE, Ca. - Justin Vink scored the go ahead goal with 3:02 left in the fourth quarter to lead the Penn State Behrend men's water polo team past Caltech Friday night. Vink gave the Lions an 11-10 lead and scored an insurance goal to give Behrend a two-goal lead with 2:37 left in regulation. Behrend would complete the thrilling comeback victory by a final score of 12-11.
