Noteworthy:
* In championship style, both teams scored three goals in the first quarter to stay even heading into the next eight minutes
* Austin outscored the Lions 4-3 in the second for a one-goal lead
* The Kangaroos held Behrend scoreless in the third and added six goals to pull away 13-6
* Both teams reverted back to the first quarter, scoring three more goals each in the fourth
* Nick Thompson tallied five goals on nine attempts, while Rylan McDowell added a pair of goals
* Owen Kroh dished out a team-best four assists and recorded one goal
* Dylan Hayslip also found the back of the net
* Ethan Friedman made 11 saves
* As a team, Behrend only converted one of 11 power plays
