Men’s Cross Country Seeking Sixth Straight Conference Championship

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team will host the 2025 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships on Saturday, Nov. 1. The 8k race begins at 11 a.m. at the upper Behrend Fields.

* The Lions are in search of their sixth straight AMCC title and 17^th in program history
* Last season, Lucas Boyd was named the AMCC Runner of the Year for taking first place at the AMCC Championships
* Behrend had six runners earn All-Conference honors for placing in the Top 10: Lucas Boyd, Bennett Kerr, Peyton Brewer, Aiden Reinsel, Tim Hamilton and Alex Haskins
* Boyd was named the Newcomer of the Year two years ago for finishing runner up
* Returning this season are Boyd, Brewer, Reinsel and Haskins
* As a team, the Lions took the fourth through eighth top 8k marks
* Ethan Vaughan holds the fastest AMCC mark this year for Behrend with a time of 26:39.5 at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble on October 18
* Aiden Reinsel and Alex Haskins are three seconds apart for fifth and sixth in the AMCC with times of 27:10 and 27:13, respectively, at the Rochester Yellowjacket Invite
* The Top 10 finishers will garner a spot on the AMCC All-Conference Team
