McNany, Ciocco Cap Off Postseason Honors With All-ECAC Selection
Penn State Behrend softball and baseball seniors Jocelyn McNany (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) and Mac Ciocco (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) have been selected to the 2025 Division III All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Team.
Erie, Pa. – Penn State Behrend softball and baseball seniors Jocelyn McNany (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) and Mac Ciocco (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) have been selected to the 2025 Division III All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Team.
McNany, the reigning AMCC Player of the Year, led the conference and ranked 17th in Division III with a .492 batting average. She also tied for sixth in the nation in doubles (20) and tied for 36th with 63 hits. Her 63 knocks tied her for second in the conference record book for most hits in a season, while breaking the program record and tying the AMCC record for most doubles in a season. McNany led the AMCC in runs batted in (39), home runs (7), on-base percentage (.524), and slugging percentage (.875). She was also second in the conference in runs (40) and triples (four). McNany tallied a hit in all but three contests to go along with 12 stolen bases.
The All-AMCC First Team selection at first base was also picked to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region First Team this postseason.
Ciocco finished second in the AMCC and ninth in the nation with a .452 batting average, while also being first in the conference in hits (71), third in runs batted in (43) and on-base percentage (.527), and fifth in slugging percentage (.611). He led the team in walks (23) and tied for first on the team in doubles (14) and home runs (three). Ciocco registered 42 runs scored for second on the team. He ranked as the 18th toughest hitter to strikeout in Division III with only seven strikeouts in 157 plate appearances and recorded a 17-game hitting streak during the season. Ciocco reached base in 41 of 42 games and tallied 25 multi-hit games and 10 contests with two or more RBIs.
This year, Ciocco was also named to the All-AMCC First Team, D3baseball.com All-Region 7 Second Team, and ABCA/Rawling All-Region 7 Second Team as a designated hitter.
