ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend softball team swept Penn State Altoona to be named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Regular-Season Champions on Sunday afternoon. The Lions took game one 10-2 in five innings, while winning 9-7 in game two.
Game One: Penn State Behrend 10, Penn State Altoona 2 (5)

Key Moments:
* Behrend surrendered a solo home run in the first and then exploded for nine unanswered runs
* The Lions took the lead for good in the first inning with three runs
* Alexia Brown walked and Chloe Nale reached on an error, before Julie Jones loaded the bases with a single
* Hannah Smith had a sacrifice to score Brown and Meghan Swain singles to score Nale

* With two outs in the bottom of the sixth and down a run, Jones smacked the game-winning two-RBI double for the 8-7 lead
* Swain followed with a single to get Jones home from second to make it 9-7
* Ashley Bartus, the winning pitcher in relief, got the final three outs in the top of the seventh to improve to 2-1 in the circle
* Behrend jumped out early, scoring two runs in the first inning and two more in the second for a 4-0 lead
* Altoona answered with a four-run third inning to even the score, then took its first lead at 7-6 in the sixth
