Four Named to All-AMCC Women's Basketball Team
Penn State Behrend women’s basketball team had four players named to the 2025-26 All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Team, announced on Tuesday.
ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women's basketball team had four players named to the 2025-26 All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Team, announced on Tuesday.
Senior Morgan Altavilla was named to the First Team, while sophomore Alaina Fabin and senior Madilyn Boyer were selected to the Second Team. Senior Julia Balaski rounded out the All-Conference accolades on the Third Team.
Altavilla, the two-time AMCC Preseason Player of the Year, ranks tied for second in the AMCC in points per game at 17.6. She also ranks third in free-throw percentage (80.7) and is sixth in three-point field-goal percentage (36.0). Altavilla has led the team in scoring in 12 games and registered 20 or more points in 11 contests. She became the program's all-time leading scorer this season. In conference games only, Altavilla averaged 17.7 points per game, good for second overall. In 13 conference games, she shot 44.9 percent from the floor and 80.4 from the charity stripe.
Fabin led the team with double-figure point performances with 24 total, including a career-best 32 points in the AMCC Championship game. She led the team in rebounding in 15 contests and registered nine double-doubles. Fabin leads the team and ranks fourth in the conference with 8.05 rebounds per game. She ranks second on the team with 15.1 ppg while sitting seventh in the conference in field-goal percentage (45.1).
Boyer is averaging 11.7 points per game, ranking third on the team in just 16 games played due to knee injury. She led the team in scoring in two games and has registered double-digit points in 11 games. Boyer averages 5.8 rebounds per game and is shooting 46.5 percent from the floor, while contributing 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
Balaski ranks second in the conference in steals (83) and ranks tied for second in steals per game (3.1). She is also dishing out 3.1 assists per game while scoring 11.0 points per game, good for fourth on the team and 14th in the AMCC. In conference games, Balaski ranked second in steals per game (3.5) and is pulled down 4.1 rebounds. She has led the team in scoring four times and registered double-digit points 15 times.
