Hearn Named NCAA Scholar All-American

ERIE, Pa. – Senior Peyton Hearn (Conneaut Lake, PA/Conneaut) has been named a 2024 NCAA Division III Scholar All-American announced by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA).

Hearn is the first Scholar All-American since the reinstatement of the program in 2017-18 and the first under second-year head coach Caleb Garvey.

Hearn landed on the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) First Team after being crowned AMCC Champion at 149. He finished with a 24-6 overall record between the 149/157 weight class and led the team with seven technical falls while adding two pins and two major decisions. Hearn was also ranked No. 1 in the Southeast Region during the season.
