True, Stoeckle Named SUNYAC Swimmers of the Week
Penn State Behrend swimmers Kaitlyn True and Isaac Stoeckle were named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Swimmers of the Week.
ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend swimmers Kaitlyn True and Isaac Stoeckle were named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Swimmers of the Week.
True won three individual events and one relay in a dual-meet victory against Penn State Altoona on Saturday. She captured the 1000 free (11:23.19), 100 free (59.11) and the 200 IM (2:21.32). True also swam on the winning 400 medley relay (4:15.21). Her time in the 1000 is a freshman and team Top 10 time and her 200IM is a freshman Top 10 time.
Stoeckle, earning the honor for a second-straight week, tallied two relay and two individual wins vs. Penn State Altoona. He won the 100 backstroke in 52.54 and the 200 backstroke in 2:01.03, while swimming on the winning 400 medley relay (3:38.21) and the 400 free relay (3:18.63).
The Lions return to action on Saturday against Pitt-Bradford. Meet begins at 1 p.m.
