FREDONIA, NY – The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving 400 medley relay broke a pool record in the 400 medley relay on day one Fredonia Blue Devil Invite on Friday night.

* The Lions are in second place out of seven teams with a team score of 488
* Behrend had four first-place finishes on the opening night, showcased by the first place and record-setting 400 medley relay
* Camryn Watters, Kallie Smith, Jadyn Danylko and Marin O'Lone broke a nine-year old record set by John Carroll with a time of 3:59.93
* Smith and Watters each won an individual event
* In the 200 IM, Smith clocked in a personal-best time of 2:10.91 for first place
* Watters won the 50 free with a season-best time of 24.39, while Kaitlyn True touched first in the 500 free (5:13.04)
* Smith, Danylko, Watters and Samantha Sebulak led Behrend in the 200 free relay, coming in second place with a time of 1:39.45
