Records Fall at Fredonia Blue Devil Invite; Women's Swimming and Diving Place Second

FREDONIA, NY – The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team placed second out of seven teams at the 2025 Fredonia Blue Devil Invite held over the weekend.

Saturday Key Moments:
* Katilyn True, Kallie Smith, Logan Wilson and Isabel Sheridan set a new team record with a time of 7:59.05 for second place in the 800 free relay
* Smith then captured the 400 IM with a new team record and personal-best time of 4:40.44, winning by nearly six seconds
* Jadyn Danylko took the title in the 100 butterfly in 59.13 and was one of two swimmers under one minute in the field
* Camryn Watters flew to first in 56.66 in the 100 backstroke, while teammate Marin O'Lone placing fourth (1:02.15)
* Behrend had a second relay take runner up in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:50.67 thanks to Watters, True, Danylko and Samantha Sebulak
* Wilson also took third place in the 200 free at 2:00.72
Sunday Key Moments:
* The Lions had four individual winners and one relay win on the day
* Smith was second in the 200 breaststroke with another personal-best time of 2:29.68, the third fasted time in school history
* True was the individual winner in the 1650 free with a time of 18:04.13
* Watters won the 200 backstroke by nearly seven seconds with a winning time of 2:11.86
* Danylko finished out the first places, winning the 200 butterfly in 2:14.04, while Sebulak took third (2:18.77)
