BUFFALO, NY – The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team set a pair of records and leads the competition after day one of the 2026 SUNYAC at the Flickinger Aquatic Center at Erie Community College on Wednesday night.
Women's Scores: 1. Penn State Behrend (104), 2. SUNY Cortland (98), 3. SUNY Oswego (90), 4. SUNY Oneonta (78), 5. Penn State Altoona (70), 6. SUNY New Paltz (56), 7. SUNY Potsdam (44), 8. SUNY Fredonia (42), 9. Pitt-Bradford (24)
Noteworthy:
* The Behrend Lions are edging SUNY Cortland by six points thanks to a pair of relay wins
* The Lions won the 800 free relay, consisting of Kallie Smith, Logan Wilson, Isabel Sheridan and Kaitlyn True, and broke the team record with a time of 7:55.01
* Behrend went 2-for-2 with a first-place finish in the 200 medley relay
* Camyrn Watters, Smith, Jadyn Danylko and Marin O'Lone made up the winning squad that set a new team record with a time of 1:47.41

* Behrend returns to the water tomorrow for day two of the SUNYAC Championships. Prelims begin at 10 a.m. with finals at 5 p.m.
