Danylko Named 2026 SUNYAC Women's Swimming Scholar Athlete of the Year

SYRACUSE, NY - Penn State Behrend senior Jadyn Danylko is the 2026 SUNYAC Women's Swimming and Diving Scholar Athlete of the Year. This award is nominated and voted on by the conference sports information directors. Recipients are at least a sophomore, hold a 3.30 GPA or higher and display academic and athletic excellence as a starter or significant reserve player.

Danylko is a five-time All-Conference swimmer after being a part of three winning relays and finishing first 100 butterfly and fourth in the 50 freestyle at the SUNYAC championships. Her wins helped her team finish second overall at the league meet.

Danylko is a senior nursing major with a 3.93 overall GPA. She is a three-time Academic All-Conference (AMCC) and member of Chi Alpha Sigma Athlete Honor Society.
