ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's track and field team heads to Rochester, New York on Friday for the Alumni Opener hosted by Nazareth College.

* The Lions opened the season last weekend at Mount Union
* Behrend took first in one event and had at least one top-10 finisher in five different events
* Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) paced all runners in the one mile, finishing at 5:38.78
* Nola also finished the 5000m in fifth place
* Four runners cracked the Top-10 in the 800m with Emily Ferrans (Bradfordwoods, PA/North Allegheny) topping Behrend with a time of 2:37.43 and a fifth-place finish
* Madison Kappeler (Cecil, PA/Canon-McMillan) had Behrend's best finish in the field, earning fifth with a 3.07m height in the pole vault
* Maria Campbell (Erie, PA/Villa Maria Academy) cliched eighth with a vault of 2.77m
