LORETTO, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's indoor track & field team competed in its final meet before conference championships on Saturday.
Key Moments:
* Bridget McMaster (Geneseo, NY/Geneseo Central) won her 3000m steeplechase debut, running a time of 13:03.65
* Senior Madison Kappeler (Cecill, PA/Canon-McMillan) finished runner up in the pole vault with a score of 11-3 3/4. She also jumped a personal best 17-2 3/4 in the long jump for second place
* In the javelin throw, Julia Balaski (Mercer, PA/Mercer) threw 115-1 for third place
* Kappeler would go on to place fourth in 100m (12.89)
* Freshman Rylee Long (Slippery Rock, PA/Moniteau) jumped a distance of 34-9 3/4 for fifth in the triple jump
* The 4x1 relay team of Long, Kappeler, Peyton Grimm (Sykesville, PA/DuBois Area), and Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) ran a second place time of 51.68
