Women's Indoor Track & Field Tunes Up at Last Chance Qualifier
The Penn State Behrend women’s indoor track & field team traveled to Houghton for the 2026 Last Chance Qualifier on Saturday afternoon.
HOUGHTON, NY – The Penn State Behrend women's indoor track & field team traveled to Houghton for the 2026 Last Chance Qualifier on Saturday afternoon.
Key Moments:
* Abigail Falk led Behrend in the sprints, winning in the 60m (8.13) and 200m (27.71)
* Morgan Martin won the pole vault (2.82m) and added a runner-up finish in the 60m hurdles (10.44)
* Kelsey Hanna placed second in the mile (6:42.69) and competed in the 800m (6th – 2:35.67)
* Caroline McDevitt finished second overall in the 400m (1:01.11) and then joined the winning 4x200 relay
* Joining McDevitt was Ana Buck, Ruby Lormejuste and Falk with an AARTFC qualifying time of 1:51:50
* Lormejuste and Buck were also 2-3 in the 60m along with Falk, running in 8.19 and 8.56, respectively
* The 4x400 relay squad, consisting of Lynzey Reinsel, Ella McGowan, Angelina Compeggie and Kelsey Hanna, placed second overall (4:49:57)
* Reinsel also took seventh in the 800m and was just behind Hanna in 2:42.91
* In the field events, Braylee Lukehart (2nd, 11.03m) and Riley Morningstar (4th, 10.27m) posted top-five finishes in the shot put
* Buck cleared 1.46m for second place in the high jump
* The distance crew saw strong depth in the 3000m by taking the top four spots led by Lindsey Hartle (10:48.75)
* Bethany Litwiler (11:43.68), Sam Abate (12:04.48) and Baylee Dernar (12:21.11) were the next finishers for the Lions in the 3000m, respectively
