Park Breaks School Record in Weight Throw; Women's Track & Fields Places Ninth at SUNYAC Championships

BROCKPORT, NY – The Penn State Behrend women's indoor track & field team placed ninth out of 11 teams at the 2026 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championships this weekend.

Key Moments:
* Jessica Park broke the school record in the weight throw, tossing 47-8 ½ on her fourth attempt to claim sixth overall
* Morgan Martin also took sixth in the pole vault (9-0 1.4) on her second attempt at that height
* Caroline McDevitt had a seventh-place finish in the 400m dash with a personal-best time of 1:01.91
* Lindsey Hartle ran a personal-best and AARTFC qualifying time of 18:43.52 in the 5000m to take seventh and also placed eighth in the 3000m (10:46.95)
* Alivia Hetrick, Ella McGowan, Lynzey Reinsel and Abby Major ran 14:42.19 in the distance medley relay for eighth place
* Ruby Lormejuste ran a personal-best time of 8.15 in the 60m dash for eighth place
* Hetrick also led the Lions in the one-mile run, clocking in at 5:39.84 (season-best time) for eighth place
* Lormejuste, Abigail Falk, Reinsel and McDevitt made up the eighth-place 4x400 meter relay that took eighth in 4:28.32
