PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Senior Jessica Park broke the school record in the hammer throw to lead the Penn State Behrend women's outdoor track & field team at Carnegie Mellon over the weekend.
Key Moments:
* Park placed seventh overall in the hammer throw, hurling the new school record distance on her first try at 138-8 (42.26m)
* The 4x100 relay consisting of Chloe Yazembiak, Abigail Falk, Caroline McDevitt and Ruby Lormejuste registered a time of 50.38 for third place out of nine teams
* Caroline Lewis recorded a throw of 102-11 in the javelin to place ninth
* Yazembiak also competed in the 200m, taking 15th overall and first on the team with a time of 27.39
* In the discus, Norah Keeney threw 111-10 on her second attempt for 16th place
* In the 400m, McDevitt ran 1:02.34 to finish 16th overall
